Anyone ever get a vasectomy?

I know some guys of you are squeamish to talk about such things, but I feel men's health should be something we are able to talk about. If this makes you uncomfortable, go read a sports thread.

I go under the knife tomorrow afternoon. I've never been squeamish about doctor's visits including a prostate exam. I've been given a Valium for some reason. I guess guys get anxious over this. My friend is an EMT and said there are a lot of nerve endings in the area so the Valium is for that.

Good to hear. I went in for the consultation a couple weeks ago. The surgeon said he's done over a thousand of these.

I took two days off of work because my ball sack was the size of a cantaloupe. The only awkward thing was when the doctor is down there working on you you’re spread out like a woman giving birth. I must say it’s a little awkward.

I have a cute nurse's assistant who will be nearby.

I work from home so if anything gets out of hand, I'll still be able to work. I'll still have 2 days over the weekend to take it easy.

Since i got married, I only manscape for special occasions; vacations, weekends without the kids lol

A vasectomy would definitely get more than just the usual trim.

Good call, I’m sure the wifey appreciates that for those times. I know the women I have been through appreciated it greatly.

Yea a vasectomy after you're sure you don't want more kids is a great choice. It makes the sex better without condoms and the woman doesn't have to use any pills or other birth control that screws with their hormones.
