superbowl they cannot change, that's already too planned with location/acitivies/hotels/entertainment, ext

you can push 1 week of playoffs back so then no 2 weeks in b/t superbowl. In that scenario every team gets 1 bye and #1 seed gets 2 weeks off

OR

Maybe have Bills/Bengals play Thursday and then that playoff team who has to play, maybe push to Tuesday. But then if they win, they are playing 3 games in 11 days
feel like most logical would be option A

Article on Fox News by Boomer Esiasan saying the nfl may cancel all games this weekend, sorry but I can’t get the link to post

One-time NFL MVP and current WFAN radio personality Boomer Esiason gave his theory on the matter, saying the NFL could move Week 18 back and have no games this upcoming weekend to make up for the postponement.

I just want everyone to know that I'm an extremely compassionate guy

But we have to be honest with ourselves here this kind of stuff happens every single day everywhere in the workplace and they don't shut down or alter the business permanently.
For the rest of the day yes out of respect for families and everyone.

I know it sounds cruel but life must go on.

How about the cops that get killed on duty all the time do they shut down the force?

What about the construction worker who gets killed directing traffic do they shut down construction permanently?

I hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say and don't take it the wrong way.
Thank you for being brave enough to post this. It truly sucks to witness this happening on television last night but it did bring some moments back from 9/11. Just imagine all the heroes that lost their lives that day too. I had a hard time sleeping last night and even though it sickens me, a part of me was thinking about my bets and my other fantasy league that I was in where Josh Allen was my QB and I only needed 10 points to win.

Huge balls if this did occur.

The only thing I would say against Wag’s point is, when I worked in construction one hard day. An iron worker died of heat stroke on a slab right before a concrete poor, & they absolutely shut the job down for the day. So from my experience that was a bad example.

So they shut it down for a day right?

Doesn't that kind of validate my point?

I guess I just don't like special treatment

No person is better than another

TT mentioned 911 and that's a perfect example how they put so much time and effort into honoring the police officers and the fire fighters, and not nearly the same respect to all of the people that died in their families

I just don't agree with it
