Right, I mean, isn't that just sad. Imagine e how gorgeous that area was 50 years ago...the homes...average, Privacy, exclusion etc.

It's directly south in a neighborhood known as Whitehaven.

In the 50s and 60s and 70s it was rural and various estates and hobby farms occupied the area.

Today it's a city of 40,000 and just all black. And it shows. It's not safe, there's limit commerce, weird drug dealers walking the street and nothing but gas stations, smoke shops, chicken joints & metro PCS shops.

Hitting Beale street for the music at clubs/bars is about all we enjoyed in Memphis for attractions.
The food was good too.

But the street is so short! Like they really could have done a little more with it....

Had ribs at BB Kings joint. They were top 7 (not top 5) rib. They like to tout their sauces there...I'm a wood smoke / rub guy.

The "Stanleyville Station" at Busch Gardens Tampa (if that's even still functional) had the greatest ribs ever

Went there back when we were st Bud Distributors and Bud was still American and got my free entry for a couple couples....stumbled into there and found the ribs.

I literally left my date and told her to go have fun, I dropped $235 on ribs in 2004 at Busch Gardens it was so good

Biatches need to know when you find great ribs, its better than sex. They need to understand priorities.

We used to go to a rib joint in the heart of Oakland Flint Ribs when we went to A’s games or a concert.
Was the bomb but never went at night lol.

When i went to visit it on my 2010 road trip, The surrounding area was a shithole. Could not believe it. Can only be worse now.
