The Spurs had double digit leads in both games and lost. Against anyone else they would have won at least one of them. This is more about the Knicks than the Spurs. The Knicks are hard to kill
This is the thing.
Atlanta made it a series vs the Knicks, got destroyed in the end. Cleveland played one competitive game (GM1), got destroyed. Philadelphia competed in 1 or 2 games, got destroyed.
Spurs were leading most of GM1 and GM2. If you punch the Knicks enough times, they will eventually fall, just like any other team. Can the Spurs punch again, and again, until they actually win a game (and then another, and another?)
If you believe GM2 physicality will be allowed by the refs going forward, I don't think Brunson survives this series, he'll end up in a walking boot or with some sort of serious injury. If it's called a little tighter, it's going to fly over 217 and I like the Knicks' chances better
