Does he get inside tips on the horses? My friend would get tips and they would win most of the time! I bought a new car in the 80s with the winnings. True story.

sometimes. but tips are a lot of times like just advice from another poster on what they like

my dad likes to track the "tips" people. if they win a few races, then he follows along.

It was my friend from high school. His Mom knew the trainer. Hot n bold was 11-1 won easily. Had 200 win 200 place. Paid $25 win and like $12 place. Fun times back than.
Imitation fun was over 50-1 guess what he won by 3 lengths. I remember jumping up and down. Paying $118 win. $56 place. Collecting over almost 20 grand. It was crazy. My friend I still talk to but his Mom is not doing well he said.
