For the 2026 Kentucky Derby, trainer Bob Baffert is saddling two horses: Potente and Litmus Test. Both horses are part of the field competing for the 152nd Run for the Roses on May 2, 2026, with Baffert seeking to add to his record-extending win total.

Then those are the two I'm betting on.

Baffert is such an admirable dude.

He'll lie, cheat, and steal to win.

Gotta love a dude like that.

Those two horses probably have more steroids pumped in them than a hundred Jose Cansecos and Mark McGwires.

🤣 😂 🤣

Litmus Test 50/1 ML/Potente 20/1 ML. Usually Baffert has a lower odds horse or 2 in the field.
How can you go against him?

He lives for winning.

He'll do anything to win.

He'd sell his own mother to win the Kentucky Derby.

What a twisted mother fukker but you gotta love him.

Baffert's horses are a bad bet. After being burned by a positive test at the derby and then getting burned in court after a bunch of frivolous lawsuits, he isn't going to dare juice his horses for this race.
Keep thinking that.

He'll invent ways around it.

This is called a telephone number race
A "telephone number" in horse racing refers to a horse that has a long, confusing string of numbers and symbols in its past performance form. It is slang for a horse that has not been finishing in the top three positions recently, often showing a sequence like "000900" or "89078" in its past performances. [1, 2, 3]
