Los Angeles Lakers star Austin Reaves is optimistic to return to action for Game 5 against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night after missing about four weeks with a Grade 2 oblique strain, sources told ESPN on Tuesday.

Reaves will be a game-time decision for the third consecutive contest, but there's significant hope around his status, barring a setback. He has progressed in his rehab over the last one to two weeks, from one-on-one workouts to larger group scrimmages, sources said.

Saw that. I like LAL G5 if he’s back. Would be a big boost to get him in even if he’s not quite 100 percent.

The Houston Rockets officially ruled out star forward Kevin Durant for Wednesday night's must-win Game 5 against the Los Angeles Lakers because of a left ankle sprain.

Durant didn't participate in practice with the Rockets on Tuesday before they left for Los Angeles, trailing 3-1 in the Western Conference first-round series. But he was seen running on an antigravity treadmill as the team wrapped up its work before heading to the airport.
Better for Houston if he doesn’t play

LeBron embarrasses him

They are 22-1 title and luka is still weeks away from returning. And they play Okc next

Are they going to be like +350 that series?

Getting a lot of respect
It seems like a wild overcorrection.

They were definitely undervalued going into this series but now it’s moved too much the other way

They won’t have Luka back against OKC so they’re pretty cooked. Like I would think it’s more like +800 to +900. If they somehow won that series though then they should be favored to win the whole thing frankly
