sounds good. wins is paramount as that decides the winner. But keep track of losses and pushes(basically a loss) so we have a running total of plays. Also gives the forum a chance to see how we are running. I will double check as well. as for the lines one of us will post by the afternoon. ESPN for sides and game totals. BOL for team totals. @therivers & @samsncharge99 I think allowing static/stale lines is going to become an issue at some point for both the contestants and the posters following the contest. I don’t want this to turn into a player just waiting until the very end to place their bets once the line has moved 4 or 5 points from the opener for value.

Having said that game might not be available because another player has chosen it. We should only allow contestants to use current, live lines that are actually available at the time of posting. Something to think about let me know your thoughts. If you can’t bet the line at the time posting your play in this contest, I think it negates the whole purpose especially the posters following the thread.

^ I see your point JDS. But I doubt the line moves that much. (4 to5 Points). Part of the difficulty is staying ahead of the curve if you bet early. Just like wagering with the book. If you get it in early and you are ahead of the curve all the better for you. I like having a line everyone can see. But if you and Sam really want to use a current line when you post it's all good with me. I think we can all trust each other we will use the current line posted at ESPN/BOL.

without a doubt. Roofer is the Man who brings the goods so to speak. Nice piece of change to the winner. And the way I would approach the contest with static lines is this. I see a number in the afternoon I think is off hit it. Let the chips fall where they may. A little more strategy involved with posted lines. Sam you break the tie here. thx.

hey JDS another thing we can due if we use static posted numbers. Make the deadline about 5pm to 6pm est to make a pick. so we post the lines by the morn/afternoon and you have 5-7 hours to make a play. That way real late lines moves don't come into play. Something to consider?
