I can’t see any of these college players changing an NBA team next year

Most number one draft picks don’t really have an impact on an NBA franchise anymore. You just don’t know who’s gonna be good other than if your name is Wemby

Very few generational talents anymore basketball coming out of college look at Cooper Flagg. Dallas Mavericks are worse than ever with no hope in the future.

His college teammate ended up being the better player

Yep. Several great players and plenty of them freshman but I'm not seeing a Wemby in the bunch.
But, then again Wemby was a one in a decade kind of player IMO.

Wemby is the ninth wonder of the world, following Andre the Giant.

There’s no “game changers” in the NBA right now. The days of Magic, Bird, Jordan, Kobe, etc. being able to put a losing game on their shoulders and pull out the ‘W’ are gone. Probably the last one with that ability was LeBron - maybe 10 to 15 years ago. Nobody “battles” anymore. No more shutdown ‘D’ players like “The Glove”. Just too many 3-point shooting cherry pickers who don’t play defense…..

👍🍺

I’ll give you Wemby, and maybe even ‘The Joker’ - sometimes, and that’s probably it. Gone are the days of multiple teams having someone who could put the team on their back when they needed it. I’m talking even more guys like a Barkley, Malone, Isaiah Thomas, Drexler, Olajuwon, Reggie Miller, The Admiral. NBA just seems not as ‘exciting’ and ‘passionate’ as it used to be. Just my stupid observation…..

Wemby is going to go down in history if he keeps playing.

Dude is crazy good at just about everything. Can keep the kitchen clean with blocks and pull up from the logo for 3.

I've never seen anything like him.

Watch the highlights, it's crazy.

IMO Acuff will be a good pro. Look at Calipari guards they usually go on to have good NBA careers and Acuff may actually be the best of a long list of Calipari guards that have had good NBA careers. Whether he plays on a winning team remains to be seen but whoever gets him is getting a future All Star imo.
