Sources: NFL, referees break off labor talks amid impasse

Labor negotiations between the NFL and NFL Referees Association broke off earlier than scheduled this week as the sides were unable to make progress toward a new collective bargaining agreement, sources told ESPN.

That's gonna end up in court to get resovled at some point.

But, will NFL have games without the regular refs? It would be a cluster-fk if they used college refs....

Why are the refs a union? Just stupid. Fire them all, let the game be reffed via 12 TV cameras and flagging plays via AI live. Same w spotting the ball.
