Got up and was bitching to my wife how we missed the hafltime run, I was a bit pissed.

My dog picked up on it, starting fukkin with me to play, so we ran around a bit and then I took him outside for a minute to look for cats.

Oh Ajay knew I needed a reset alright.

He fukkin knew.

@jjgold if we build a dashboard to submit limit orders, you think we can have it automatically send to different accounts at the same time?

That would be a useful function.

a multithreaded backend could send multiple requests in parallel each with a different api key corresponding to a different account

Yeah, we were looking at that.

A good place for the future dashboard to connect.

Here's s Kalshi page with the number of Upsets in the round of 32.

This is graded by seeding, not moneyline.

Texas should be the only one so far, as Nebraska was not an upset by seeding...

Here's yesterday's action.

Got aggressive early on Saturday and that is definitely a risky move. Walked away from the desk with some open positions, a no-no.

There were 14 trades yesterday with 6 straight morning losers. In total there were 7 losing trades, 6 winning trades and 1 breakeven trade for a gain of +.4206 units or +$42.06 per $100 bet.

Pretty damn good work in the Lab, even continuing this morning, but the Trader seems to only tighten down after necessity, as if he want to keep the daily win streak alive.

Eventually, that taking of the ability to trade for profit for granted will catch up to the Trading Desk.

Wish I had that at 5.5, among other Kentucky red flags.

Hopefully Iowa st doesn't go up 10-0.

Would not be suprised if Iowa St wins this game by exactly 5 points.

I can just smell it.

Kentucky +4.5 @ .48 cents.
Kentucky ml @ .33 cents.

Once again the Lab is doing great work.

@jjgold bigmoney scalps available already.

I won't take the profit yet, though. Let's let it simmer.

Kentucky +4.5 @ .48 cents.
Kentucky ml @ .33 cents.

Closed the +4.5 for .62 cents @ a 29.2% profit
Closed the ml for .48 cents @ a 45.5% profit

No positions now.

I still like Kentucky though.

Uh oh, amost wish that last buy didn't fill. Had the order in low, didn't think it would sweep down there.

Now it's under water, lol.

Kentucky ml @ .54 cents

Almost doubled down here with .33 cent buy, but couldn't get in.

I guess I'll hold off for now.

We are still bullish Kentucky as that spread of 5.5 and the ml is owned in the book.

I know I have Kentucky in the books and while I expected to lead early, you know I hate to lead early in the book on plays like this one (not at the Trading Desk, in the book).

But we have enough evidence here to suggest Iowa St doesn't make the comeback, at least to cover the spread.

It's little less clear when it comes to the moneyline.

I should have sold the .54 cent ml when it got back over 50. I did not.

So I will get stopped out should it crash into the 20s, but we're hopefully a little ways away from that.

This game could really come down to the end with the ml and any kind of tie late will favor Iowa St in the market.

Making that .54 cent position a difficult one to navigate for profit.

Almost doubled down here with .33 cent buy

This opportunity is here again and if I didn't have it in the book and small account, I would probably take a second position to knock that avg price down.

So we sit on our hands and watch what should be a competitive 2nd half.

I will get stopped out should it crash into the 20s

An early 2nd half run for Iowa St could shake me out of the this moneyline.

The thing about patience and discipline as skill sets is that you can master them you can harden and become ice cold in the veins, but no matter how well we master and conrol them, we are still human.

It's still a battle and emotions can lead to all kinds of problems with patience and discipline, from short circuiting rational thinking to going on full tilt.

It's a lot like the spiritual battle. It's a struggle of ups and downs for the entire journey, whether you started as child or found God late in life.

There's a reason I used to see 85+ year old people who have been to church their whole lives still in Sunday evening bible study get togethers sharing stories, struggles, and learning.

Because of the unique nature of the human condition we can never stop fighting the battles of patience, discipline, and spirituality.

Think about it.
