I order pickup all the time. I'm still waiting for the day my food won't be on the shelf because someone else stole the bag.

Was thinking (if this is in fact real) if stores really wanted to crack down on this type of theft, every receipt has the card type & last 4 digits printed on it. Simply ask, “let me see your Visa ending in these numbers, and you’re free to go”. Except if they paid cash, but who does that? Especially for a T.V.

Reminds me of something that happened to my wife.
She was working at a shoe store in the mall during college. A lady tried this carp. It escalated quickly. My wife told her to leave and the woman reached across the counter and pushed my wife to the ground at the register.
The woman tried to run but the other customers stopped her and the police arrested the lady for assault.
