When you have way too much money - you buy crap like this.

Obviously the card is scarce - but so are a lot of others.

Been dead for decades - who even remembers why he was so great ? No one alive saw him play.

It’s a status symbol - check in where it is in 20 years…probably 1/5 as valuable. Cards are cyclical - we already had a bust at the end of the junk wax era…it’s booming now but another 5 years the hobby bubble will pop.
