Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier III
UFC Lightweight Bout
Saturday, July 10, 2021 – 11:00 PM EDT at T-Mobile Arena
The Fighters
The most highly anticipated trilogy fight of the decade is upon, as "The Notorious Conor McGregor" and "The Diamond" Dustin Poirier will collide for the third time, and we should expect fireworks.
Conor McGregor holds no illusions with his technical approach; a crisp boxing offence and speedy footwork have gifted the Irish superstar with a knockout ability that’s saw him become a two-division champion.
Dustin Poirier, a former UFC champion, is yet another fighter who possesses some beautiful, striking ability. Although not so quick and fluid as his opponent, Poirier’s all-around martial arts skillset is broader. His grappling offence exceeds that of McGregor whilst owning the more excellent cardio of the two.
The Perfect Parlay Pick
Both men enter this contest with one fight apiece, making this third encounter the decider. McGregor failed to check the leg kicks and relied on a heavy lead leg boxing output during the second fight, an opposite attack from the first fight in where he was victorious. Poirier eat the lead leg of McGregor whilst waiting for the opportune moment to punish McGregor, but for this week’s prediction, none of these factors makes a difference.
The available UFC odds with BookMaker are providing a slightly juiced number for the fight to end inside the distance, but let’s be frank - it’s highly doubtful that both men are going to reach the fifth and final round, let alone allow the judges to score the winner.

UFC Heavyweight Bout
Saturday, July 10, 2021 - 09:00 PM EDT at the T-Mobile Arena
The Fighters
The big boys of the heavyweight division could well and truly set the mood during UFC 264’s main card, as heavy hitters Tai Tuivasa and Greg Hardy will be headhunting for the win.
Greg Hardy was exposed for his lack of grappling ability last time out; Marcin Tybura overcame the power of Hardy to then dominate with a wrestling offence followed by ground and pound. Fortunately for Tuivasa, he’s likely to avoid a grappling game plan and stick to what he knows best a fistfight.
Tuivasa has some excellent fight IQ on the feet and is undoubtedly evolving his grappling at American Top Team. Still, his ability to understand distance and lace up his opponents will probably favour the gameplan leaning towards a striking one.
Perfect Parlay Prediction
Hardy has zero grappling and little experience in MMA, and I believe Tuivasa is going to school Hardy in all areas of the fight game. Much like the upcoming boxing contest between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, Hardy’s chance of winning will rely on his one-punch power like the Bronze Bomber. And I predict Tuivasa is an elite level of competition that Hardy won’t be able to overcome.
Perfect Parlay Prediction: Tai Tuivasa to win at -135 with BetOnline
