Will it be third time lucky for Fitzy?
Regular readers and followers of my BMR column will know that Matt Fitzpatrick was a selection for the top 10 and outright win markets for the Scottish and British Opens.
Happily, both weeks, the thirty-year-old Englishman contended for both titles, leaving us to settle for top 10 returns and more profits each week.
His name is catching my eye once again this week, at an event he has only played on one occasion in 2018 when he finished 36th.
Seven years ago, Fitzpatrick was making his way on the DP World Tour, but he was still to make an impression on the PGA Tour, hence that was a very unusual start in America.

As we had discussed at the Open in Great Britain, Fitzpatrick is returning to his best form after a yearlong slump, so being in contention will have sharpened this multiple winner’s game further, and perhaps this week will be the week this proven closer wins again.
