Thanksgiving is upon us, and Bookmakers Review has three NFL player props Week 13 that will make the holiday much more fun and certainly more profitable.

After researching these games and all of the live NFL player props on the schedule, we have found a trio of NFL prop bets on one of the biggest holidays of the year.

NFL Prop Bets Thanksgiving At-a-Glance

As has become tradition, there are three games on the Turkey Day slate, beginning with the Packers at the Lions at 1:00 PM ET, followed by a 4:30 PM ET showdown between the visiting Chiefs invading Jerry’s World to take on the Cowboys. After we’ve all lapsed into a food coma, the Bengals will visit the Ravens for an AFC North clash at 8:30 PM ET.

This week’s football player props include a selection from those games, and without further ado, let’s get to cashing as we start with checking out the Packers vs. Lions tilt in Motown.

Lions’ Jahmyr Gibbs (Under 73.5 Rushing Yards (-118) at Bovada)

Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions – 1:00 PM ET

The Green Bay Packers will hope to rekindle the same performance they had against the Lions in their season-opening clash, when Green Bay downed Detroit, 27-13, at Lambeau Field. However, the venue has shifted to the Motor City, and Jahmyr Gibbs is hoping his performance more closely resembles the eye-popping 219-yard rushing performance against the Giants last week rather than the paltry 19 yards on nine carries against the Packers in Week 1.

You must understand that, as good as Gibbs is, the Giants’ run-stop unit is equally as bad, ranked dead last in the league. Gibbs is averaging a click over 86 yards per game, yet against this No. 6-ranked Packers run defense, that number will decrease, but the squares will bet over because they believe all defenses are the same and Gibbs will once again run roughshod on Thanksgiving Day.

Go low on Gibbs’ rushing yards.

Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes (Over 273.5 Passing Yards (-118) at Bovada)

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys – 4:30 PM ET

Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes is always a fan favorite of the squares because he’s a household name, and he’s earned all the accolades he’s received. That’s precisely why I normally fade him in my player props. However, this total being offered at Bovada seems just low enough to get us to take a bite of the apple.

Mahomes is averaging nearly 271 passing yards per game this season, which means the total of 273.5 is certainly in his orbit. However, last week he ended with 352 aerial yards against the Colts and has thrown for over 273.5 yards in four of his last five games.

Now consider who he’s playing on Thursday. The Dallas Cowboys’ passing defense is ranked 30th in the league, and if you don’t think Mahomes is going to torch that woeful Cowboys’ secondary, then be my guest and bet under. But you’ll regret it!

Ravens’ Lamar Jackson (Over 23.5 Rushing Yards (-118) at Bovada)

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens – 8:20 PM ET

Lamar Jackson is not only getting older but also getting wiser and more judicious as to when he runs the rock. This season, his rushing numbers are down, but his chances of enjoying a long career have notably improved.

Nevertheless, this looks like an ideal spot for him to scamper over this relatively low rushing total being hung by Bovada. In Jackson’s eight games this season, he is averaging roughly 30 rushing yards per game. In the last two weeks, he’s been held to a total of 21 rushing yards, but the Browns and Jets defenses look like the ’85 Bears compared to the one he’ll face on Thursday night, the woeful Bungles.

Cincinnati will be so concerned about getting smoked through the air that Lamar will have time to roam and roll out to the sidelines, picking up five to seven yards a gallop. If he does that six or seven times during this contest, you don’t have to be a mathlete to figure out he will soar over this modest rushing total.

Go high on Jackson’s rushing yards.
