The NBA All-Star Game is trying another format for this year’s game. After lots of negative feedback from other formats, the NBA All-Star Game is rolling with a three-team format. They’ll have two teams of players from the United States and one team of international stars.
One team is headlined by LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and many of the OG’s. The second US team has players like Cade Cunningham, Chet Holmgren, and Anthony Edwards. Finally, Team World features players like Victor Wembanyama, Luka Dončić, and Nikola Jokić. We’ll see if it’s more competitive this year.

NBA All-Star Game Spread Pick
We know there will be three games played in the NBA All-Star Game. What’s funny to me is that the OG USA team, Team USA Stripes, is the favorite, while USA Stars is the younger USA squad.
The stars like LeBron James and Kevin Durant are unmatched, and they’re going to want to prove it.
Ultimately, the two teams with the best records will advance to the Championship game after the first three games. The games are also 12 minutes long.
The USA OGs aren’t getting enough love, and they’re going to prove why they’re the dominant team in this whole thing.
Give me the USA Stripes at -2.5 (-113) over the USA Stripes. This should be a larger margin.
Expert Pick: USA Stripes -2.5 (-113) at BetOnline
NBA All-Star Game Total Pick
Again, these games will be 12 minutes long. Typically, in a quarter in the NBA All-Star Game, teams average around 45-50 points. Every total is currently set at no higher than 81.5 in any of the three games for the All-Star game.
The USA Stripes vs. the World will likely have no defense at all. It’ll likely be a fun showdown between two teams that can score at will. Let’s back the Over at 80.5 in that USA Stripes-World game.
Expert Pick: Over 80.5 (-113) at BetOnline
NBA All-Star Game Moneyline Pick
While Victor Wembanyama is the expected MVP, Team Stripes has the best odds to win the whole thing. Funny how that contradicts itself.
That said, I’m all over the OGs.
The USA Stripes consists of Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, and Donovan Mitchell. The World might look good on paper, but the chemistry and competitiveness won’t be there.
I’ll trust the fellas who typically dominate this event, yes, even without Steph Curry.

Who Will You Choose?
I’m riding with the top players in the NBA in this new, exciting format. The World looks to be the most stacked, but the chemistry could lack a little bit.
