We’ve got two great games in the semifinals of the 2025-26 College Football Playoffs (CFP), which resume this Thursday when the No. 10 Miami Hurricanes take on the No. 6 Ole Miss Rebels. We’ll also find some of the best player props when Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza of Indiana is in a rematch with Oregon on Friday.
Let’s look at our favorite picks from the semifinals.
NCAAF CFP Semifinal Prop Bets At-a-Glance
For this week’s best football player props, we are looking at the top running back in the Miami vs. Ole Miss matchup. We also have our eye on a quarterback to throw under in passing yards for Oregon vs. Indiana.
Miami’s Mark Fletcher Jr. (Over 88.5 Rushing Yards (-115) at Bovada)
The Miami Hurricanes have not been throwing the ball as much in the postseason with Carson Beck. Instead, running back Mark Fletcher Jr. could have another big game against an Ole Miss defense that does allow 146.1 rushing yards per game at 4.2 yards per carry – not the kind of numbers you’d hope for a championship-caliber defense.
Fletcher had 172 yards against Texas A&M in the first round and another 90 yards last week against Ohio State’s stout defense. He has gone over 88.5 rushing yards in 5-of-12 games this season, but he’s been good in the key games as he had 120 yards against South Florida and 116 yards against Florida.
The total for this game is 52 points, and Miami is a 3.5-point favorite, but it could be a game where they take the air out of the ball again and salt away the lead with Fletcher on the ground game as he flirts with another 100-yard game. That’s why we like his over 88.5 rushing yards prop.
Oregon’s Dante Moore (Under 221.5 Passing Yards (-115) at Bovada)
Oregon Ducks vs. Indiana Hoosiers – Friday, January 9, 2026, 07:30 PM ET
For Friday’s game, we have a rematch from October when the Hoosiers pulled out a 30-20 win after Fernando Mendoza threw a pick-six before answering with a go-ahead touchdown to Elijah Sarratt. He still got the best of the quarterback battle as Oregon’s Dante Moore threw for 186 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 interceptions, and had minus-27 rushing yards because of sacks against that elite Indiana defense that held Alabama to 3 points in the Rose Bowl last week.
Moore has played fairly well in the postseason, but Oregon had that slow start against Texas Tech before he finished with 234 passing yards. But the Hoosiers forced Moore at home to throw 34 passes, his second-highest total in a game this year, and they allowed him to complete only 61.8% of his throws, his worst in a game with over 15 attempts this year.
The Hoosiers only allow 178.9 passing yards per game, and they held Alabama’s Ty Simpson to 67 yards on 16 passes before he was replaced. Look for Indiana to make life difficult on Moore again and hold him under 221.5 passing yards.
