NCAAF Odds Week 8 At-a-glance
The NCAAF odds for Week 8 are currently out. This week, the SEC has some massive games, including three matchups between top-25 teams. We’ll look at the LSU-Vanderbilt game along with the Ole Miss-Georgia matchup and discuss the current odds below.
LSU Tigers vs. Vanderbilt Commodores (-2.5)
Saturday, October 18, 2025 – 12:00 PM EDT
The Vanderbilt Commodores are currently 2.5-point favorites against the LSU Tigers at home. Meanwhile, the total has increased from 48.5 to 49.5.
LSU just earned a 20-10 win at home over South Carolina. It outplayed the Gamecocks in the entire game, but a few turnovers around the red zone cost the Tigers a bigger win. That said, LSU was able to get the running game going.
The Commodores lost to Alabama, 30-14, after quarterback Diego Pavia ultimately guaranteed a victory. It wasn’t a good look, but Pavia has absolutely added confidence to a squad that didn’t have much before he got there.
As long as LSU limits turnovers and stays committed to the run, the Tigers should be able to escape Vanderbilt.
Ole Miss Rebels vs. Georgia Bulldogs (-7)

The Ole Miss Rebels are currently undefeated heading into this week’s matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs. If Ole Miss plays the way it’s played over the last two games, you can forget about it.
However, Georgia started slowly against Auburn on the road last week. The Bulldogs overcame the slow start and secured a 20-10 victory on the road, but that wasn’t Georgia’s best effort, either. In addition, the Bulldogs already have a loss to Alabama at home this season.
This year, the Bulldogs don’t have an elite pass rush, and the secondary hasn’t played up to standards this season. That should allow for Ole Miss to have some success throwing down the field. Consider Ole Miss at +6.5.
How to Bet The SEC’s Big Games
The Tennessee Volunteers are set to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in another top-25 matchup. All three of these games will have major implications for the SEC Championship game in a couple of months, so you should check out these and other NCAAF odds.
Our recommendations were to take a chance on LSU and Ole Miss. It also wouldn’t be a bad idea to consider Tennessee at +9.5 at this point. The expectation is that each SEC top-25 matchup will be competitive and within reach.
