Table of Contents

We’re headed to Week 10 of the college football season. This week, there are three matchups between teams in the top 25. Oddly enough, that doesn’t include the Penn State-Ohio State game scheduled for 12:00 ET on FOX.

Penn State made a shocking decision to fire its head coach, James Franklin, after three consecutive losses. But just last night, the LSU Tigers made an even crazier decision, firing Brian Kelly after three losses on the season.

This is a good year for coaches to have good seasons. The money bags will be passed around. Let’s discuss some of the biggest games on the slate and the odds for them.

Make sure to review all the NCAAF odds for Week 10, not just the games we go over below. Some of the college football odds Week 10 will blow your mind.

NCAAF Odds Week 10 At-a-glance

Most of the time, that Penn State-Ohio State game is the most anticipated game of the slate. But not this week. Oddly enough, College Gameday is headed to Utah for a Big 12 battle between the Cincinnati Bearcats and Utah Utes.

That should be an exciting game, but for East Coasters, it’ll be hard to stay up since the game starts at 10:15 pm ET on Saturday.

Other games we’ll feature include ranked SEC matchups. Vanderbilt is currently the No. 9 team in the nation and just a 2.5-point underdog against Texas this weekend. Meanwhile, Tennessee will welcome Oklahoma to town for a 7:30 pm ET showdown. The Volunteers are favored to win by 3.5.

These are just some of the most significant NCAAF odds for Week 10. Let’s take a look!

Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Texas Longhorns (-2.5)

Saturday, November 1 – 12:00 PM EDT

It’s been a super weird season for the Texas Longhorns. They’ve won three consecutive games, but the last two came in overtime. Texas probably didn’t deserve a win against Kentucky after getting outgained by a significant amount.

Meanwhile, Texas earned an epic comeback on the road against Mississippi State last week and finished the job in overtime. If Texas falls against Vanderbilt, it won’t be able to rally back like it did against Mississippi State.

This is a game between one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, going up against one of the most disappointing quarterbacks in the nation. Arch Manning of Texas was expected to be the guy, but Pavia is actually that guy. That’s why Vanderbilt is only a 2.5-point underdog on the road and ranked No. 9 in the country.

Oklahoma Sooners vs. Tennessee Volunteers (-3.5)

Saturday, November 1 – 7:30 PM EDT

Oklahoma is starting to figure out how hard the SEC is. The Sooners have lost two of their last three games, including home games against Texas and Ole Miss. Now they’re in danger of losing another one on the road against Tennessee.

Ultimately, Tennessee has defeated the three worst teams in the SEC, and its only loss to an SEC team was against Alabama. With that said, Tennessee really hasn’t proven much this season. But the Sooners haven’t either.

Tennessee hasn’t played many home games in conference play. They’ll likely enjoy this one

Cincinnati Bearcats vs. Utah Utes (-3.5)

Saturday, November 1 – 7:30 PM EDT

At least the Big 12 is getting some recognition this week. The Cincinnati Bearcats are 7-1 and just knocked off five consecutive Big 12 opponents. They’ve also won seven straight games behind veteran quarterback Brandan Sorsby, who has 20 passing touchdowns and just one interception this season.

Yet, the Bearcats are still 7.5-point underdogs on the road. They’re playing a Utah team that just smoked Colorado, 53-7, last week.

Ultimately, Utah isn’t a top team in the Big 12. It lost to BYU and Texas Tech, both ranked higher in the AP Top 25. Cincinnati is also ranked ahead of Utah, so don’t be surprised if the Bearcats stun the Utes
