My buddy who lives in Las Vegas bet the Dodgers RL -140 yesterday on his app. Gosolin was scratched so his bet should of been voided and wasn’t they won by one run. He got on live chat and they told him it’s an action bet WTF. I looked up the closing RL was -104 well they took out $140 from his balance WTF.
So he got in his car on my prodding drove to a Green Valley and they told him just started this year all plays are action.
I responded and they didn’t adjust your line what did they say about that but he didn’t bring that up. I told him if it were me I probably would of been escorted off the property LOL.

Bobby did you know or hear about this new rule all RL and totals are action what a crock of shit.

Wow. Was it a really small announcement about the change that all plays were action? Because if it wasn't something blazing across the app and/or serveral emails/notifications, I'd be pissed.

I remember this coming up last year on boards with the trend of "openers" becoming more prevalent.
Well betting the game there will be adjusted line. Wonder what happens if a rain shortened game that has to be voided. It sucks finding out the hard way

Also I can understand them taking $140 from his account if he bet it at -140. He didn't beat the closing line
-104 was the adjusted line per pitching change. And when we bet a total offshore we don’t have the option of action all totals and RL’s are automatically listed. Sports book 101

Oh okay the adjusted line I get it now. And yeah I usually bet money lines I don't really bet run lines

They will always adjust the odds than use the risk amount. It would be fvcked up to adjust a line and your ticket with the to win amount if you think more about it. Not everyone has an account but an actual risk ticket. They would be short changing customers if they did it your way.

Not sure where you been Biggins but offshore made this move too with Covid:

All baseball wagers have Action

Unless otherwise stated, all baseball wagers - MLB, college, softball, and foreign pro leagues - are “Action” wagers. "Listed Pitchers" is no longer being offered.
This applies to sides, totals, Run Lines, team totals, first five innings and inning-by-inning props.
All bets placed on these markets will be valid and have action, regardless of any pitching changes that take place before the game.
Please keep in mind as part of this change, all wagers have action at the confirmed price. Meaning, for example, if you selected a team at +200, but due to a pitching change, their price drops to +180, your bet is still locked in at +200.

At least Bookmaker is paying out your original ticket. Not only better bonuses and better lines but another reason to bet offshore

That makes no sense to me. My buddy did say they started doing this because of covid.
Like Tanko said should of been e-mails lights flashing on your apps and so forth.

So you have Max Scherzer versus Justin Verlander and one of them gets scratched you’re stuck with a 6 1/2 under

I didn't know they kept the same odds. I had seen either start of this year or last year they went to the Action pitchers only but assumed they just updated the line like action always did. Can't believe they give you same odds. Inside info could score big with a Degrom/Max scratch.
