I liked Gary a lot but he was getting crossed by white dudes not quite top 5.....

Let them have Curry, this would happen to him and he would have never even lasted a full season starting at 5:04.....

LOL not even a Tech initially back then. Nowadays would have been an auto ejection no review required. Curry wouldhave never been able to shoulder shimmy like a queer or air poop on any court if his daddy wasnt a Mason and if NBA didnt have soft ass rules PERIOD
I guess that would define which era they’re playing - no good enforcers anymore. Team ‘A’ has the likes of Rodman, Laimbeer, Oakley, Artest, Mahorn - the list goes on and on…..

No more enforcers as the league won’t allow it.

Good list of guys for A - Artest would be the tail end of the era - but yea in the 80s there were a lot of guys whose style of play I idolized. They weren’t complete goons - but they knew their role and it was to both protect the “stars” and serve as an irritant to opposing players knocking them off their games.

You even had a few guards that could do it well - not as physical obviously - but Starks and Reggie Miller come to mind for both their shooting ability and their ability to get on an opposing teams nerves.

Just thought of this - should make an all-white version:

🤣

Team ‘A’:
John Stockton
The Logo
Larry Legend
Tom Chambers
Bill Walton

Team ‘B’
Steve Nash
Kyle Korver
Luka Doncic
Dirk Nowitzki
The Joker
That is an easy team B win. Probably by 30 pts.
I would replace Chambers with Maravich and Walton with McHale and it would be closer

I don't know Hakeem did fine against Shaq in the 95 Finals. Of course that was a young Shaq but I think it wouldn't be as big of a mismatch as some might think.
This is what I remember watching, I didn't remember the year. Hakeem was best player in the league, I thought the 2 years MJ was in Birmingham.

Most ppl don't realize it, but statistically Shaq dominated Hakeem David Robinson, Ewing, Mourning, and all other Big Men in his era

Shaq & Orlando lost that Finals matchup to Houston because of Nick Anderson basically
