I’ve been running real hot in my racing thread and overall the past couple of months but finally had a losing weekend. Lost right at $600 overall in my racing thread this weekend even after hitting a $338 straight bet winner in Sunday’s race.
Was going to cash that out and call it for the weekend but when I went to cash out at @KVB ‘s Kalshi I saw they had Oscars odds. I loved Sean Penn in “One Battle” and I could pick up another $140 if I went all in on the $338. Figured he was a shoe-in and did it. He won 10 minutes later.
Then saw the Knicks down 9 at half at home Golden State, who were playing with 5 guys they picked up at the Y. Went all in again -190ish. Fairly easy winner.
After that was graded USA and the Dominican Republic were going to the bottom of the 9th. Commercial break. USA -680 up 2-1. Went all in for another $125 profit then cashed after Miller stranded @JDS boy Julio Rodriguez on third base.
Wound up cashing about $410 more than I would have.
Took some of the sting out of a down week in the racing thread where I had a few winners but just didn’t pair them correctly in my parlays. Still lost overall but a nice little live run to close out the weekend.
