Here is a tip, don't deposit the second you open an account. Most book sees you opening an account as really close to funding it. If you wait a few days or a week, you might get better offers. The exception to this is when there are lots of really good ongoing offers like start of football season, where you really want to take advantage of it. Else what harm is there to wait a week or 2?

Some books it only takes 1-3 days. Have proven it over and over. Like most things in life, don't rush into anything and shop around seeing what you can get. Just because you do not see it, doesn't mean you can't get it. Hard work still can pay off.
