Super Bowl LVII Matchups

There's been talk about possible Super Bowl matchups. I have a wager on Chiefs/Vikings. Thoughts?

Please take my poll. I'm curious about how things will play out in February.
Welcome to BMR Forum, Rwdibacco! I'm so happy to see you here.

Just to let everyone know, I've been in contact with this guy for many times now via email due to his NFL contest weekly winnings. I'm glad he finally join our community.

Both Philly & Buff have been exposed on D as of late

Also, both outdoors going forward in weather situations where honestly ANYTHING is possible

Vikes in solid position for 1st round bye in NFC that is relatively weak and where they simply don't lose (2nd best home record since 2017). SF would be a dog fight matchup in Championship game.

AFC Buffalo has 2 big issues and they're both Josh Allen. He cannot and I mean is completely incapable of throwing a receiver open and he is reckless w the ball and his body. He will get hurt and he will fumble on those scrambles which is the only way they move the chains on 3rd down. KC is KC, I don't believe in Tua; Lamar; Tenn just does not have the fire power. If Buff doesn't get 1st rd bye I don't see them winning 3 road games in a row vs teams w equivalent offense and better D

I agree with everything you said. I've been a Seahawks fan for over 40 years. I think they are at least two years away from making any noise. I am impressed by the Niners. I can see them making a surprise run. But, I still like the Vikes in the NFC. There's just something about the Eagles that I can't get excited about.

Same with the Bills. I would LOVE to see the Bills and Vikings in the Super Bowl. Two franchises with past Super Bowl failures. But, they are like the Eagles. There's just something about them that says "one-and-done." I've said this since the Preseason. Most NFL analysts had already written the Bills into the Big Show. Now they are seeing what most of us have been seeing.

Thanks for the comment.

Chiefs vs 49ers the most likely match-up IMO, though a lot of teams are live

AFC....

Kansas City has the 1 seed right now, plus they have the second-easiest schedule remaining. Really have to play no one except for visiting Cincinnati, and I guess the Chargers this weekend if you consider them good (basically a neutral site game, at worst)

Chiefs obviously gotta avoid Burrow in the playoffs though :)

Bills seems to be too reliant on Josh Allen.

Bengals have their own issues I think with the line and while I like them as a dark horse again, I think it will be too much to overcome

Ravens maybe could make a run, but Lamar has struggled recently and think they might be too banged up.

The rest don't seem legit. I like how Miami has responded since getting Tua back, but their defense is very suspect and don't think how they play translates to playoffs. Patriots and Jets too weak

NFC....

49ers are the best team in the NFC, and think they can win anywhere. Best roster top to bottom by a considerable margin, run the ball well, play elite defense. If Jimmy G doesn't suck too much, it's theirs to lose I think

Philadelphia's run defense is soft, and I think they're on the cusp of getting exposed a bit

Minnesota is too spotty on defense, and Kirk Cousins is their quarterback -- that alone eliminates them honestly. They're not as good as their record. +35 margin is pretty bad for an 8-1 team, especially considering they didn't really beat anyone until Buffalo, which was a pretty flukey game.

Bucs could be heating up, but don't think they have the offensive explosiveness

Dallas could be legit, until they shit the bed when McCarthy actually has to make decisions with a playoff game in the balance.

Can't really trust a team like Seattle or New York. Just not enough firepower there, though they've had admirable seasons
