Georgia -5.5 over Georgia Tech
Tonight’s battle in the Peach State features two teams that must do significant work to make the NCAA Tournament. Georgia has played a more challenging schedule and sports the better overall defense. Georgia Tech has had a few upset wins this year, like the one against Duke the other night. Only a little separates each team, but Georgia is better at this point in the year. Georgia Tech is breaking in a new coach, Damon Stoudamire, and will be without guard Lance Terry for a few more games. The Yellowjackets might have false confidence after beating a historically bad Duke team at home. Playing on the road is a different animal. Take Georgia.
