They are absolutely a fair weather sports town. The only real home field advantage we have is the heat & humidity in September for the NFL home games the Dolphins cover 70% of the time the last 20 years since I’ve been gambling. Problem is you only get about two or three of those a year.

OK JDS thx for the opinion. The Panthers seem like they have solid fans for the playoffs. But yeah the Fish don't seem to much of a home field adv other than the times you mentioned.

Yeah Panthers less fair weather as Dolphins, but then again they have been winning a shit ton more 2 Stanley cups last 3 years. Second half of the season the following declined extremely this year for the Panthers.

Maybe not in this era but Miami backed the Marlin's back in the day..The 1997 Team was awesome. We beat Cleveland in 7 games. That team had players Livan Hernandez World Series MVP.. . We were the wild card and Jim Leyland ran the team. , Edgar Renteria..Gary Sheffield.. Bobby Bonilla.. Moises Alou...Kevin Brown... Edgar Renteria won it with a base hit single.

And then we won it again in 2003. Josh Beckett was the World Series MVP.. We had players Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez, Mike Lowell, Dontrelle Willis, Jeff Conine, Juan Pierre. My favorite was Jeff Conine. We beat the Yankees in six games. Josh Beckett pitched a complete game shutout in Game 6 at Yankee Stadium.
