Question - Futures Bets and Roll-Overs

I have a question about roll-overs and futures plays. I've never run into this because I don't make season-long futures bets but, I'd like to know how it is handled.

If you are working through a roll-over, place a futures bet, and susbsequently finish the roll-over requirement, will books check off on the roll-over as complete or will it still be hanging out there due to an open futures bets?

Just wondering if some books stick it to you in those situations.

I wondered the exact same thing Tank because I have some futures bets that could hit soon and I didn’t want them to get caught up in a baseball bonus where I couldn’t withdraw my winnings.

Never found out so like usual I didn’t take any bonuses

It would only make sense that as long as you exceed the rollover without counting the future bet-amount as part of it, you are good to go

I'd think so but I wonder if books play games and make you hold on to the rollover until all bets clear.

Hmmmm I would think pending wagers are irrelevant once the rollover is already reached

If you have a pending RO and your futures bet (which you placed before you took the bonus) cashes you will still need to compete the RO before you cashout.
The basic rule is: No withdrawals as long as there is a pending RO. There are exceptions to this but it is usually true.

So the pending futures bet (made while working on the RO requirement) will keep the RO in place until that bet clears.

Wow. Kind of makes you hesitate on making futures plays once you get the RO bonus.

Yeah it's tricky. One idea is to use one book for your futures bets, and then take bonuses at other books. This complicates things when shopping for futures' prices though.
