NFL suspends three players indefinitely and two for six games for violating the league's gambling policy

Yeah thats what makes no sense to me. Draftkings is an official partner of the NFL but these guys get in trouble for betting chump change to them on games. I just don't get it because I thought the league was embracing gambling and now they're suspending players for doing something that isn't illegal anymore.

In a way I can understand it because they cannot control what they bet on. So there's no telling if they're betting on their own games and then fixing them

Yeah thats what I figured after thinking about it for a moment. They probably bet on Lions games and thats still a no no in major professional sports to bet on games involving your team because obviously you have inside info.
