He's kind of going overboard with this stuff, at least a little bit

Like he knows he's been such a liability in the playoffs and has acted selfish at times in the past, that now he's trying hard to change that narrative......too hard IMO. Like he tries every chance he gets to advertise himself as making a big sacrifice

Like it's kind of selfish in its own way...."Look at me guys, I'm a team guy now!"

That said, he did walk away from 47 mil. That's pretty bold given that he appears to be declining. pretty fast

I think we can agree jis game doesn't press us anymore & that he's never played any defense, but anything I've ever seen he seems like a good guy

In this instance he could have easily taken the money for himself but didn't

No doubt there are big a$$holes like the ones you've named but, I'd still put Harden somewhere on that list too. He was not always well thought of when he was in Houston by any of his teammates. He was not a big community supporter either unlike other athletles --> see JJ Watts thread.

Like I said, it's great he's willing to give up some $ for a better team but IMO he's dug a hole that will take some actions (like this) to climb out of.
