Me and the ex had a standing $500 futures on the Broncos to win it all the Peyton years. We enjoyed watching those teams play. Paid off 10/1 that year thanks to Cam.
Was re-watching those 30-minute Super Bowl recaps on NFL Network. They were showing all of them from last decade.

When it came to the Broncos-Panthers I forgot how badly the Broncos offense struggled in that game. If Cam and the Panthers could have done anything at all they’d have had a chance. But they were dominated start to finish by Broncos D.

And Cam’s body language told the story. He was beaten before the third quarter even ended.

As opposed to a Brady, for example, who kept pumping up his teammates, many of whom were hanging their heads down 25 vs Falcons, because he truly still believed they had a chance to win.

That Pats/Falcons game was one of the best games ever in NFL history. Of course if you were an Atlanta fan you might have a different perspective. 😀

Still shocking up 8 with just over two minutes left and in game-sealing field goal range Dan Quinn allows a pass to be called, leading to a sack and punt.
