You'd think that he'd motion to the sidelines and maybe point at the clock. The OC is new, my take is that he was deferring to the OC's play-call. Ergo, stupidity all around.

they were clearly looking for style points. a 3 point win over GT doesnt look that good at the end of the year. RB breaks a tackle or 2 and its a 10 point win

but. those are the chances you take and not even close to worth it

I’m one of these disgruntled Miami fans knowing our season was over in that extremely ignorant moment. I turned the game off before that play knowing they got a 1st down & all they had to do was kneel twice.

I heard this happen in Oregon one year & they lost essentially the same way. Obviously he didn’t learn anything from that experience, and it is inexcusable that he would allow this again in his career.

1 or 2 options: the game moves too fast for him, his o-coordinator and his vet QB all at the same time

or they wanted to break a TD for a better looking win. if it was that and he told the truth it would save him a bit he looks shady this way
