Not gonna weigh in on GOAT debate — we can have that debate . I could write novels about it but ultimately it doesn’t matter

What’s crazy is how LeBron’s game has evolved. Just watch the first two games of the series and you can tell how much SMARTER he is than everyone else on the court even as his athleticism wanes

He is a true basketball prodigy
for sure.

Crazy but Lebron is still athletically dominant. He had a dunk last year his head above the rim

Athletically basically Bo Jackson, Usain Bolt and maybe deion sanders

Lebron being 25% less athletic means he is still a beast compared to average player

Respect him - sure.

But just don’t try comparing him to other greats from different eras saying “how much better he is”.

He’s great BECAUSE of the era he played in as well as his natural talents. He’s not playing guys who would have put him on his ass regularly like the late 70s through 80s.

Kinda like how the 1950-60s players had it somewhat easier (especially if they had a big ass center on their team to help play enforcer if someone from the other team started getting a little too chippy) - ‘bron plays in the area where everyone is friends and there’s a lot less rivalries - especially when with free agency you may be recruiting the other guy next year to team up to win a ring. Between that and the whole financial incentive to take care of yourself, stay around and make $$. Years ago when guys were paid tens of thousands mittens of millions - you played hard, hoped for a ring and some endorsement $$ as a result of winning a championship. Now everyone has deals coming into the league.

But no matter what era he plays in - he’s top 20/25 talent - that’s undeniable.

LeBron would be great in any era

Incredible size and athleticism, as well as absolutely insane basketball IQ

I’d say this era probably allows him to stay healthier longer though

Not sure why Houston is trying to double team him

LeBron makes the right read 99.99% of the time. Just stupid

Best bet is sag off a little and hope he is cold from down town
