04/24/2022 | NBA Playoff First Round Series - Game 4 | Suns vs. Pelicans

For basketball love's sake, prop betting is ideal. However, it is kind of painful when prop player wagering against your own team. Mixed feelings here, but one has to be objective.

My prop player bet goes to Brandon Ingram #14. Ingram’s performance has been exceptional in the playoffs series against the Suns. He averages 29.7 points per game, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.0 assists. He has played at least 30 minutes in Games 1, 2, and 3. Take note that this is his first career playoffs performance.

Solely in Game 2, Ingram scored 37 points which included 3 3-point shots, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. Unquestionably, his performance contributed to the Pelicans’ victory against the Suns.

This is even more impressive considering the complexity of playing against the Suns. The Suns learn their lessons fast and tackle promptly whatever they fail to see. They’ll go hard against Ingram today. Yet, he is skillful and ready to deliver.

Beyond the stats, I also look at the player’s drive. This kid is determined to go places.

NBA Prop Pick: Brandon Ingram over 25.5 points
Ingram has scored 28 points. 3rd is yet to finish.

04/28/2022 - NBA Playoff First Round Series - Game 6 | Suns vs. Pelicans

I hope everyone is having a ball during the NBA playoffs and cashing out a lot, of course!

My prop pick for tonight’s matchup goes to the seventh player in the NBA history to have 30 points, 4 3-point field goals made, and 4 blocks in an NBA playoff game: Mikal Bridges. If you are wondering about the others, they are LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, and Vince Carter.

In the past five playoffs games against the New Orleans Pelicans, Bridges has averaged 17.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.

For Game 6, the Pelicans will go harder on Bridges. While one might be worried about this and the fact the Suns are playing away tonight, which we have seen has impacted them in the previous games, however, I consider Bridges will be up for the task and show us a terrific performance.

Mikal will be among the projected starters and he usually gets heavy minutes on the court. So, he will have the chance to show off why he is holding his new record.

NBA Prop Pick: Mikal Bridges Over 16.5 Points
