Does Hà Nội still have a lot of the old French architecture? I know in Vietnamese sandwich shops here in the US they have a few French choices like croissants and baguettes (banh mi).

Yes, we have place called the old quarter, it is all French based, tons of French bakeries etc etc. Very heavily influenced by the French.

I would like to investigate those moles she has just to be sure they are not a problem.
There are a couple under her shirt that need further investigation as well.
