Padres are only 4.5 games out of the wild card. They could jump right over the DBacks this weekend with a swept.

Game one Snell vs Nelson edge Padres
Game two Gallen vs Hill edge DBacks
Game three Lego vs Pfaadt edge Padres

in order to sweep, Hill needs to be very crafty.

This is a good spot for them to get closer in the wild card standings

Now a huge concern is how long will Musgrove be out. If he isn’t going to go for a while these guys could be ready to pack things in.

My thinking on the Padres is their coach can not handle all these prima donnas. He is great with normal guys.
