Too late

It's the new culture we've allowed to be inherited the last 2 decades

From one thing to the next

A domino effect
its really awful to admit but you are completely right.

it’s gone too far and now, even as someone who is staunchly anti gun where I live, I would probably want to be protected if I lived in certain places.

i think what the anti-gun crowd doesn’t appreciate is that it’s incredibly difficult to feel safe when you are surrounded by people with easy access to weapons.

A lot of Canadians don’t get it. It’s really easy to say “ban guns.”

It’s a lot more difficult to understand why people who aren’t gun nuts might want to protect themselves given the current state of affairs.

there are gun nuts building arsenals and they aren’t even the people to be scared of. They are often the most responsible people you will ever meet when it comes to gun safety. It’s the perpetuation of gun culture that the arsenal guys fight for that allows weapons to find their way into the hands of people that commit atrocities.

No discipline

No serious consequence when laws broken.

No respect for law for elders for what is right and what is wrong.

People today are to self centered.

Guess we are content with this continuing to happen
If you mean banning guns is the answer you are missing the real problem.

These are mental issue problems.

hire armed guards at these schools.

don’t allow side doors unlocked.

There are a lot of things other than banning guns that can be done.

allow teachers to be armed

lot of ways to address issue.

Drugs are illegal but does that stop bad people from using drugs?

Ban guns? No

But definitely need to tighten gun laws, ban certain types

Mental health isn’t really an excuse. There are several developed countries that have comparable mental health prevalence to us but don’t have gun violence

This happens in literally no other developed country. Sure the solutions are black and white simple but acting like we can’t do anything in terms of gun restrictions is just BS

There are gun restrictions in place regarding tasking guns to a school.

That didn’t stop her.

a trained armed guard would had..

A locked side door woukd had delayed her from sneaking in.

It’s like most states have an enhanced sentence on criminals who use a gun to commit a crime.

yet the same people who claim we need strict gun laws are the same District Attorneys and Mayors that DONT push for the extra charge.

The person should have never been able to buy a gun. It’s unfathomable that this person legally purchased one.

Can people get guns illegally? Sure, but acting like every unfit person/bad guy would find a way to get a gun is unfounded and a lazy argument. There is no way to prove that and common sense would say it’s not the case.

Another senseless tragedy…

we better start putting some money in Mental Health …..
Unfortunately I think we are just gettin numb to these things …

like we as a country are powerless to stop this from continuing…
Mental health professionals are a big part of the problem. Where do you think they get their drugs from and who goes along with the lie that they are something their not instead of getting to the root of the problem?

In PH anyone can buy a gun but the process is strict. You need to pass the background check, you need to have a license and pass the training and safety course. You cannot buy ammo if you're a civilian with no supporting documents unless you're a man in uniform.
