Wow, I'm surprised that it is legal for civilians to wear military uniforms there. A lot of Country prohibits doing that and are even punishable by law.

These are pictures deep in the Mekong Delta in Can Tho, the picture of me standing on the little boat is the tip of a border to Cambodia. You can actually get into Cambodia illegally right here. There is no checkpoint here. The other pictures are of Dragon Fruit which is one of the best fruits here, there are lots of fruits here that you can't get in America. The Dragon Fruit fields are amazing and the other ones are of a floating market, you can buy fruits while you are on a boat.

Once you are here, it is very very cheap to travel around. It is nothing like traveling in America. I can break everything down, you would be shocked of how cheap it is to travel.

Where do I live? This is Vietnam, haha, there are fake apple stores all over the place, fake everything as well as real but no company, nobody can stop anything here. Countries can't even tell them what to do , let alone countries. There is not freedom of speech though. Keep in mind, there are only 5 communist countries in the world and this is one of them, however it is the most capitalist society I have ever been in. Vietnam is the land of the free, anything goes.

They are all related to VC that are still currently living. I hang out with them when I have the time. They are all wearing US military gear , one of their cars, they even put US Army stuff all over it. Keep in mind, the war was a long time ago and not their generation. They love the American culture, even the Viet Minh and Cong that I know praise America.

I've seen dragon fruit growing before and imo they are a beautiful plant and fruit. Nice pics! Here on the east coast the pink ones, which I think are visually the best, are unfortunately bland and watery. They yellows taste much better, but aren't as eye catching.

Because the Vietnamese police wear their own uniforms, they look nothing like soldier uniforms. There are 3 types of Viet police. i will go over them soon. They do some crazy stuff here. I wish I could post videos, I have videos of some wild stuff!

Patty, I am safe as can be here it is when I go to Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos, that is where the risk happens and it is severe risk because I am not doing the tourist thing. I am going to the deepest bowels in the world, the most dangerous illegal stuff you can imagine, I am around. I was told one they thought I was a reporter, haha , I get looks left and right. Next trip I will try to sneak pictures of the bears, tigers, rhino horns etc. all the casinos are unregulated too.

I am really into the cockfights here but they are hard to find, you have to know people because they are illegal. But they are here if you know the right people, which I do. They are very different than the ones in Cambodia, but still great. I often go to the park to watch them get ready and then they are brought to the circle for the fight.. I usually lose betting them but it it's fun. I was in a raid a few years ago when the cops came. Everyone had to pay money but the fights kept going on.
