I want to finish my invention and to actually get a patent for it. I can't say here what it actually is but I will once I get the patent. It has to do with energy production.

It can be a arduous process doing it on your own. There are companies who help you through the patent process.

I have my name on two patents. Fortunately/unfortunately, they were obtained while an employee at a large company and so they actually own the patents (part of employment contract). My reward for the inventions.... no money, just an acrylic trophy with an engraving thanking me for my contributions.

I won't divulge the patent since you could easily track my a$$ down with it but, lets just say, if you have carpeting in your house/office, it is a little more environmentally friendly (fewer pollutants) and of a higher quality than it used to be 20 years ago.
