UFC Vegas 52: Amanda Lemos vs. Jessica Andrade Best Bets

Table of Contents

We return once again to the UFC apex where we will have Jessica Andrade returning back to the octagon to face off against Amanda Lemos.

In this overall card, there is a great amount of value. I found that value in Marcin Prachnio vs. Philipe Lins and Maycee Barber vs. Montana De La Rosa. Read below for my UFC best bets

Marcin Prachnio vs. Philipe Lins

UFC Light Heavyweight Bout – Preliminary Card

Saturday, April 23, 2022 – 06:20 PM EDT at UFC Apex

Marcin Prachnio

Marcin Prachnio is a Polish mixed martial artist with a professional record of 15 wins (11 T/KO, 1 Submission, 3 Decisions) and 5 Losses (4 T/KO, 1 Decision).

Prachnio loves his brawls and will always hunt for that early knockout finish. He has wide swings in his punches, however, this can often result in him missing his target. If those punches do connect though, it’s lights out for you.

Philipe Lins

Philipe “Monstro” Lins is a Brazilian mixed martial artist with a professional record of 14 wins (8 T/KO, 4 Submissions, 2 Decisions) and 5 losses (4 T/KO, 1 Decision).

Lins continues his career as a light heavyweight where he has shown some great success. His power may have lacked in the heavyweight division, but his power is now at an advantage. He has great speed and solid techniques.

Fight Prediction

The UFC odds for this fight are Marcin Prachnio -126 and Philipe Lins +106 at your top-rated sportsbooks at BookMakers Review.

Honestly, in my eyes, this is a close fight and can go in either direction. Lins has his weight cut at 36 years old while Prachnio’s technique has not impressed me in the UFC.

I’m going to put my faith in Lins because of his overall power, speed, and technique. He has sharp jabs with a lot of power and I can easily see him finishing Prachnio. Prachnio will hunt down Lins with his swinging punches; in doing so, he will have his chin open and Lins can call lights out.

Or, while Lins is waiting for his right opening, Prachnio will test the durability of Lins’ chin and can potentially end it for him.

But again, it’s all down to technique, and I do believe Lins’ experience in the heavyweight division will give him the advantage. Take the dog points with Philipe Lins.

Maycee Barber vs. Montana De La Rosa

UFC Women’s Flyweight Bout - Main Card

Saturday, April 23, 2022 - 09:25 PM EDT at the UFC Apex

Maycee Barber

Maycee “The Future” Barber is an American mixed martial artist ranked #14 in the UFC women’s flyweight division. She holds a professional record of 9 wins (5 T/KO, 2 Submissions, 2 Decisions) and 2 losses (2 Decisions).

Barber is a tough striker who is also not afraid to show off her BJJ skills on the ground. One thing that worries me is her injury from back in January 2020 in her fight against Roxanne Modafferi. Barber tore her ACL resulting in her unanimous decision loss.

Following that bout, Barber suffered another loss against Alexa Grasso by unanimous decision. She closely redeemed herself back in July 2021 with a split decision win over Miranda Maverick.

Montana De La Rosa

Montana De La Rosa is an American mixed martial artist with a current professional record of 12 wins (1 T/KO, 8 Submissions, 3 Decisions) and 6 losses (1 T/KO, 1 Submission, 4 Decisions).

De La Rosa has shown improvements in her striking. However, she finds most of her success on the ground.

Fight Prediction

The UFC odds for the fight are Maycee Barber -186 and Montana De La Rosa +161 at your top-rated sportsbooks

I have to give this fight to Maycee. Although she is 1-2 in her last 3 bouts, she has shown improvements since her injury. Overall, Maycee will be the stronger fighter. Her striking will overpower Montana’s, and if levels are switched, then I don’t see Maycee struggling in that department either.

De La Rosa has shown to be a bit chiny, so I would not be shocked if Maycee’s volume and power striking can drop her. However, since I can also see this fight ending at the cards leaning Maycee and she is not incredibly juiced…yet…I will grab her straight up.
