BetUS User Experience
The user experience at BetUS is pretty impressive these days. The new management team funded a sweeping overhaul of the site, and the upgrade has generated a significant improvement in the overall wagering experience. The site looks great, with a blue on gray color scheme. Some users might find it a little cluttered, as it promotes a number of bonuses on the homepage, but the BMR team liked the new layout when we tested it out.
The BetUS sportsbook site has a search function, which a lot of sportsbooks overlook, and it works well. Navigation is very simple, and there are helpful sections like “Last Minute Bets”, “Propositions & Futures” and “Contests”. The team has really worked hard to provide customers with an exciting, immersive experience. For example, it runs a podcast called BetUS Unfiltered with Warren Sapp and Colin Jones, and it releases YouTube videos previewing sporting events. There is a “Locker Room” section of the site, which features news, stats, picks and insights, and it also offers rotation schedules for football, baseball and basketball.
BetUS Mobile Review
BetUS does not offer a mobile app, but you can access a mobile optimized version of the site by typing in betus.com.pa on your mobile browser. The mobile site is user-friendly. We were able to place bets quickly and efficiently when we tested it out on various devices for this BetUS sportsbook review, and all the different BetUS features were easily accessible via a mobile device. The mobile betting pages are laid out in an intuitive manner, and the various shortcuts aid the navigation process, so we were impressed with the mobile site.
Sports Betting Options at BetUS
BetUS is based in San Jose, Costa Rica, but it predominantly serves American sports fans, so the main sports covered are naturally football, basketball, baseball and ice hockey. It covers a wide range of other sports from around the world too in reasonable depth. It lacks a same game parlay builder, but you can find a pretty good selection of props.
The main sports covered by BetUS are:
- Ice Hockey
- UFC / MMA
The remaining sports are listed in terms of popularity. It can change depending upon the time of year, but this is a pretty typical rundown:
- Table Tennis
- Horse Racing
- Motor Sports (Formula 1, MotoGP, Superbikes, Supercars)
- Winter Sports
That is a very comprehensive list. The financials section allows you to speculate on the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum on certain dates. Novelty focuses on sports and entertainment, while the politics section sticks to US elections. There is a dedicated Madden tab, and BetUS has a full esports section covering a range of different games.
Depth of Sporting Coverage
The sporting coverage is reasonably deep at BetUS sportsbook. It covers basketball games in Europe and Australia, baseball in Japan and hockey in Europe. BetUS also does a pretty good job in covering sports like soccer. It rarely goes down to the lower leagues, but you will find top flight action in many different countries around the world. The MMA coverage is also very strong.
The range of betting markets is reasonably broad at BetUS sportsbook. If you click on a game, you will only see the odds on the spread, moneyline and totals. You have to go into a separate props section to find game and player props, which is a little frustrating. It does not provide a list of alternative spreads or totals and there is no same game parlay builder, but BetUS does have a lot of futures markets. The list of props is a lot narrower for sports like soccer, tennis, cricket and rugby.
BetUS typically offers in-play betting on 1,000 or more sporting events per week, with an average of 20 live betting options on each game. You will find more betting options on NFL, NBA and MLB games than anything else, which is great for American sports fans. There is no live streaming, but you can see some stats, and the pages are laid out in a neat and user-friendly fashion.
As far as other betting options are concerned, BetUS has additional sections for its online casino, racebook, esports and Madden. The online casino features a wide range of slots, table games, video poker games and live dealer games, plus bingo and keno. There are some interesting casino bonuses to choose from too. The racebook is excellent, featuring action from across the US, UK, Ireland, France, Australia and further afield.
Wagering Limits at BetUS
The minimum bet is $5, which is higher than many online betting sites. Many sportsbooks accept wagers of $1 or lower, so that is worth bearing in mind if you are a casual bettor. The maximum online is $5,000, but you can contact the customer support team to place larger wagers. Large bets are accepted or rejected at the management’s discretion on an individual basis. The limits will always be higher for sides and totals on the major sports leagues than on niche events and prop bets.
BetUS offers standard -110 lines on either side of the spread. It also offers -115 on either side of an NBA totals line, which is pretty underwhelming. The BMR team found the moneyline odds at BetUS to be pretty average. Overall, the odds are competitive with most rivals, but we did find better lines at certain highly-rated sportsbooks.
BetUS User Reviews
Customers that have signed up with BetUS in recent years have been impressed by the level of service they have received. They praised the speeds and reliability of crypto withdrawals, the size of the bonuses and the improvements to the overall user experience. However, if you speak to bettors that used BetUS several years ago, you will receive very disparaging comments on this online sports betting site.
BetUS offers high-quality customer support via live chat, phone and email. Most sportsbooks fail to offer 24/7 support via each of these channels, so it is great to see BetUS investing in this department. BMR tested out the service for this BetUS review and we were impressed with the speed of the responses we received, the level of knowledge the agents displayed, and the general friendliness and politeness they displayed. BetUS also offers a very thorough FAQ section.

BMR Verdict on BetUS
The BetUS team deserves credit for the significant improvements it has made in recent years. There is still some work to do – it could offer more betting options, live streaming would be welcome and the odds could be more generous in places – but overall it is an impressive online sports betting site. The bonuses are very impressive, even if they do come with high rollover requirements, and the overall user experience is excellent. BetUS still has its detractors, but it could be time to revisit this site and take advantage of its many strengths.
