    I used to have a supervisor with the last name of Nido. I looked up what it mean in Spanish. It means "nest". I guess it's named this because the bay is in the shape of a nest, surrounded by hills.

    I've said this multiple times before but that's what I'm going to do. I'm in contact with people in multiple countries in SEA on a regular basis. They tell me all about the monsoons and the earthquakes and the fires. We've also seen the floods here. I don't think I would care to live there...

    I was going to say Phuket but that's not Patong Beach and it's certainly not Phi Phi Island. It's not Bacolod or Boracay. Is it El Nido?

    That surprised me about Singapore since it's such an urban island, but I guess that big park in the center counts for a lot. There's also the park on the west side. I've been there. That's where the Jurong Bird Park was until it moved along with the Kranji War Cemetery.
