There are four Game 6s around the NHL Playoffs on Thursday, and the home team is favored in all but one.
Here are three I like for an NHL parlay with odds from BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review), one of BMR’s top-rated sportsbooks.

TNT has the telecast of this Eastern Conference matchup with Carolina having a chance to end it – but I don’t think that happens. The home team has won all five in the series, so why would it change now?
We did back the Canes in Raleigh on Tuesday and they rolled 5-1. Almost impossibly, every game in the series has been decided by at least two goals. These teams are fairly evenly matched – this isn’t like Colorado sweeping out a short-handed Nashville team in the Western Conference.
Boston did get one piece of good news Tuesday in that top defenseman Charlie McAvoy wasn’t supposed to play because he was in COVID protocol, but he was cleared out of it early in the day and took the ice. McAvoy had two shots and was minus-1 in 25:15.

Even better news: Coach Bruce Cassidy thinks fellow defenseman Hampus Lindholm (upper body) will be available for Game 6. This trade acquisition from Anaheim has been out since Game 2.
The Bruins haven’t topped two goals in any game in Carolina this series but totaled nine in the two in Beantown with the trio of Brad Marchand/Patrice Bergeron/David Pastrnak going nuts. Of course, the home team has the last line change, so now Cassidy can get the matchups he wants with that line.
Carolina is 1-5 on the NHL picks in its past six as a road dog. Boston is 10-3 in its past 13 following a loss of at least three goals.

TBS has the telecast of this Eastern Conference matchup with Toronto having a chance to advance past the first round for the first time since 2004. I do think the Leafs will win but in Game 7 back at home.
The teams have alternated wins and losses in this series. The first four games were all blowouts, but Game 5 on Tuesday in Toronto was a classic.
The two-time defending Stanley Cup champion rarely blows two-goal leads in the Playoffs but after leading 2-0 after one period lost 4-3. Auston Matthews, who is basically a lock to score in every home game, had the winner at 13:54 of the third. It was Matthews’ fifth career Playoff game-winning goal. A scant six Leafs have more.

It was only Toronto’s third multi-goal comeback win in the Playoffs since 2004 and the Leafs did it against the defending Stanley Cup champions for the second time in franchise history after first accomplishing it against the Canadiens in Game 4 of the 1945 semifinals.
The Maple Leafs improved to 21-17 in Game 5s when tied 2-2 in a best-of-seven series. They have won 15 of those previous 21 series when moving ahead 3-2. The Lightning is now 6-7 in Game 5s after being tied 2-2 in a best-of-seven series.
I like Tampa simply being at home here and almost impossibly the Bolts have won 16 straight Playoff games after a loss dating to 2020.

TBS has Game 6 of this Western Conference series with Los Angeles poised to finish off a pretty big upset. The Kings are nowhere near as offensively talented as the Oilers, but Playoff hockey is that much different than the regular season.
Edmonton has no one to blame but itself should it lose this series. It rallied at home in Game 1 and had all the late momentum but gave up the winning goal with about five minutes left in regulation.
The Oilers rallied from a 4-2 third-period deficit in Game 5 on Tuesday and had all the momentum and then allowed a goal at 1:12 of overtime by Adrian Kempe. He became the sixth player in Kings' history to score both his first career playoff goal and an overtime winner in the same game.

To make matters worse for Edmonton, defenseman Darnell Nurse has been suspended for Game 6 for head-butting Kings' center Phillip Danault in the second period of Game 5.
Nurse-led all Oilers in regular-season ice time at 25:03 per game and was averaging about 22 minutes in this series with 2 points and a plus-5 rating. Nurse’s knucklehead play really sums up this series: Edmonton is playing reckless and stupid at times.
"I feel like we're sticking to our game," Kempe said. "In the second and third game [6-0 and 8-2 losses] we kind of fell into their trap and let them play their rush game, and that's not how we wanted to play. They're a really good team when it comes to transition and I feel in this game and the one before, we took it back to playing our game, being physical and solid in the D-zone and outworking them."
I still favor Edmonton to win this game as do top-rated sportsbooks, but we’re taking the puck line. Then all we need is overtime.
