After a very successful UFC betting card, it’s time for a recap of one of the best fights on this card. I will definitely have to give that honor to the former champ, Jessica Andrade and her first-round victory over Amanda Lemos. Read below for my UFC recap.
UFC Women’s Strawweight Main Event Bout
The UFC odds were Amanda Lemos +175 and Jessica Andrade -220. In my UFC prediction, I took Jessica Andrade to win (-177) and it was definitely a wonderful decision – or should I say… Submission.
Andrade was in fact the more accurate and laid-back fighter in this one. Lemos did what I predicted she would do, leave too many openings for a strike or takedown against her.
At the start of the fight, Lemos was eager to attack. She claimed the center of the cage and immediately started chipping away at the legs of Andrade. But Andrade, not being phased at all, landed some nice punches to bring herself into the clinch and put together a standing arm triangle!

The former champ proved why she was once the former champ and secured a submission victory via a standing arm triangle! What a fight. Jessica Andrade defeated Amanda Lemos by submission at 3:13 in the first round.
Jessica Andrade is one powerful woman in the division, and it is very clear why she was once running the division. She will always be one of the toughest women in the division, and there will be very few women that will be able to defeat her any time soon.
