Sanda is a form of Chinese boxing/kickboxing. Despite her lack of knockout finishes during her professional MMA tenure, her desired offense is often witnessed through her recognizable striking skillset.
Although Dumont excels at kickboxing, her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt has assisted her with two career submission finishes. In addition, a robust set of hips and a powerful core strength makes her a difficult opponent to takedown.

Aged just 26-years-old, the room for improvement with Ladd’s well-rounded skill set could prove her doubters wrong since we previously saw in her action. But without seeing her compete for such an extended period, we have to make our predictions based on what we’ve seen.
Outside of her vicious finishing ability, Ladd’s most impressive attribute is her heart. When her chips are down, she’s proven to overcome adversity on multiple occasions – most impressively when finishing Yana Kunitskaya in the 3rd round, following a losing first two rounds.

Still, Aspen Ladd missed weight for a scheduled bantamweight bout versus Macy Chiasson just two weeks ago. Now, she’s moved up a weight class to compete against a dangerous striker in Norma Dumont, who’s been preparing for a five-round battle with Holly Holm.
