Well, hello there my fellow bettors! It’s time for the UFC 275 event headlined by the light-heavyweight championship bout between Glover Teixeira and Jiri Prochazka. Remember there is also another title on the line as Valentina Shevchenko and Taila Santos will decide who is #1 in the flyweight division.

After another winning Saturday (3-2) last week, the BMR crew looks to go for the first sweep of the year and we got some great suggestions for you.

We had a pick from our unit leader, David Manyun, but the Manel Kape vs. Rogerio Bontorin flyweight bout was canceled on Friday evening.

Without further ado, let’s break down some UFC odds.

Jack Della Maddalena vs. Ramazan Emeev

UFC Welterweight Main Card Bout

Saturday, June 11, 2022 - 10:10 PM EDT at the Singapore Indoor Stadium

Della Maddalena vs. Emeev Betting Preview

The main card of UFC 275 kicks off with a great fight between Jack Della Maddalena and Ramazan Emeev. This is a matchup of different styles with Della Maddalena being a heavy striker and Emeev being known for his grappling expertise. which means there could be a surprise if the judges decide this one.

This will be Maddalena's second UFC fight while Emeev is 5-2 in his seven UFC fights. Having said that, the Russian fighter is coming off a loss while his opponent came out victorious from his UFC debut against Pete Rodriguez.

Della Maddalena vs. Emeev Betting Analysis

"The current UFC odds for this matchup are JDM -151 and Emeev +131 at the best sportsbooks and betting sites. It makes clear sense as to why JDM is favored in this bout. He is only 25 years old and has an amazing record under his belt (11 wins and 2 losses).

"All of his fights have been finished inside the distance with the exception of his Dana White’s Contender Series bout against Ange Loosa; he won this bout by unanimous decision.

"JDM is a power hitter that loves to take control of the cage. His striking is accurate and sharp, especially with his left hand. For example, in his UFC debut and also most recent bout against Pete Rodriguez, JDM secured a T/KO victory in the first round. He actually hasn't lost a fight in the past 5 years.

Della Maddalena vs. Emeev Betting Pick

"Emeev, on the other hand, is a durable and well-rounded fighter. He is currently 4-2 in the UFC promotion with losses to Anthony Rocco Martin and Danny Roberts. His last 8 bouts have gone the distance, 2 of those bouts being losses.

"However, his most recent loss against Danny Roberts was by split decision and could have easily been Emeev’s victory.

"The Russian is a confident and durable martial artist that specializes on the ground. Emeev should be successful in bringing JDM to the ground and wearing him down. Emeev’s chin should hold tight and make it to the cards, winning himself a technical bout." Le Martin

Andre Fialho vs. Jake Matthews

UFC Welterweight Main Card Bout

Saturday, June 11, 2022 - 10:40 PM EDT at the Singapore Indoor Stadium

Fialho vs. Matthews Betting Preview

It's been less than 6 months since Andre Fialho (16-4-0) made his UFC debut against Michel Pereira (loss) and this Saturday he'll be adding a fourth bout to his resume as the Portuguese prospect looks to take on Jake Matthews (17-5-0) from Australia.

This will be a fight of styles as Fialho starts to climb in the welterweight thanks to his explosive punch. Meanwhile, Matthews is known for being a grappler and trying to take the fights down to the ground. In theory, this shouldn't bode well for Fialho whose main weakness seems to be in the grappling department.

What Advantage Does Matthews Have Over Fialho?

Matthews does hold the advantage over Fialho when it comes to grappling. Despite this, I doubt that he's the fighter that will be able to capitalize and put an end to Fialho's current win streak. The Australian's tendency to move around the octagon and avoid contact could actually benefit Fialho and all he needs is one punch.

Also, the fact the Portuguese fighter has been focusing on his wrestling lately is a good sign. In the last two years, he's gone 6-1 with all his wins via KO/TKO and that has a lot to do with his training discipline. The results speak for themselves.

Andre Fialho vs. Jake Matthews Betting Pick

I think that Fialho's next fight might produce an upset but with a -130 value on the moneyline, I'll take my chances on Fialho defeating Matthews. The public seems to be expecting that upset in this fight so you might get a better price closer to fight time. Check the betting odds!

Ricky's UFC 275 Pick: Andre Fialho ML (-130) [1.3u returns 1u profit] at BetOnline

Zhang Weili vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk

UFC Women’s Strawweight Main Card Bout

Saturday, June 11, 2022 - 11:10 PM EDT at the Singapore Indoor Stadium

Weili vs. Jedrzejczyk Betting Preview

I know there are two belts in play tonight and neither has to do with this fight but this rematch between Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk is very special.

Not only because we hope to relive the magic of their first fight, deemed as one of the best of 2020 by some. Others going as far as calling it the best women's fight in the history of the UFC. Luckily it's one of those pointless debates as it's a win-win situation (kinda) but hopefully, you get my point.

What really matters is that we should be in store for a great fight between two awesome fighters and both come into this fight with a "chip on the shoulder". Let's allow the experts to elaborate.

Ed's Betting Pick For Weili vs. Jedrzejczyk

"There’s a lot at stake on Saturday, both fighters haven’t tasted victory in a while and the winner will get a shot at UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion, Carla Esparza. This is a rematch of the all-time classic at UFC 248 on March 7, 2020, when Weili won a split decision after a back-and-forth, five-round war.

"Joanna has not competed since and she’s winless after her unanimous decision victory against Michelle Waterson at UFC Fight Night 161 on October 12, 2019. Weili, on the other hand, has yet to win since that battle with Jedrzejczyk, as she lost two consecutive fights against Rose Namajunas, including a split decision at UFC 268 on November 6.

"Jedrzejczyk has a high fight IQ and she’s training very hard but she hasn’t competed in a while, I have to go with the fighter who has been more active. Weili has a chip on her shoulder. She has a lot of heart, she doesn’t want to lose a third straight fight and she’s the more powerful puncher of the two of them." Ed Solano

Matt's Betting Pick For Weili vs. Jedrzejczyk

"With this being a three-rounder, one has to think that the UFC odds will be in favor of this one going the distance and seeing some more insanity from two of the most dangerous humans to ever walk the planet.

"In my humble “expert” opinion, the best value for this weekend’s card is on either of the fighters to win by points.

"Having said that, with everything going on and how Joanna looked the last time they squared off, I am taking Zhang by points (+140) and if you want to bank on this going the distance at -210 for your UFC picks, well peace be with you." Matt Ryan
