The 2022 NFL Schedule is officially out, and we know when each game will be played.
This may seem to be trivial, but the order of games can go a long way in determining which teams make it to the NFL Playoffs.
Traveling and weather play pivotal roles in the regular season, and no NFL team has control of these factors.
With all of this in mind, let’s take a look at some of the games for the upcoming NFL season.
These are some games that are worth targeting if you are looking for potential value in the fall.
In terms of the actual game, this doesn’t necessarily move the needle.
Monday, September 12, 2022 – 08:15 PM EDT at Lumen Field
However, Russell Wilson’s first game as a Denver Bronco is against his former team in their stadium.
This will be must-see television for the first Monday Night Football game of the 2022 season.
Denver is at Bovada (visit our Bovada Review) with a four-point edge despite playing on the road.
The Seahawks did not draft a quarterback this year, so they will probably start Drew Lock to replace Wilson.
This means that both quarterbacks will be facing off against their former teams in their first games with their new teams.
The Chiefs and Bucs competed in the Super Bowl just two years ago, and these teams could meet again in the postseason this year.
Sunday, October 02, 2022 - 08:20 PM EDT at Raymond James Stadium
If not, this could easily be the last matchup between Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady.
This gives the Chiefs enough time to prepare for life without Tyreek Hill, but will Skyy Moore be contributing at an adequate level in Week 4?
Regardless of the supporting cast, this game will give fans a chance to see two of the best quarterbacks ever on the same field.
The game is in Prime Time, so all eyes will be glued to it.
I give the Chiefs the early advantage, but we’ll see how healthy each team is heading into the season.
This game isn’t a rivalry, but these teams are connected due to the Dolphins drafting Tua over Herbert in 2020. We will get to see these two quarterbacks face off in Los Angeles.
Sunday, December 11, 2022 - 04:05 PM EDT at SoFi Stadium
The Dolphins should have a revamped offense after hiring Mike McDaniel and trading for Tyreek Hill.
This is Tua’s chance to prove himself as a franchise quarterback, and he will have a great chance to do just that if he can play well against the Chargers on the road.
Both teams should be in the AFC Playoff hunt, so this could be a pivotal game for both teams. Will the Chargers finally make it to the Playoffs with Justin Herbert as their quarterback? Will the Dolphins get over the hump and upset Los Angeles on the road?
The Bills should win the AFC East, but the Patriots could compete if the offense takes a step in the right direction.
Sunday, January 08, 2023 - 01:00 PM EDT at Highmark Stadium
Either way, this will be one of the best games in the final week of the regular season.
Both teams should be in the playoff hunt late in the year, and the Patriots could squeak into the playoffs if they upset Buffalo on the road.
These teams had some interesting matchups in last year’s regular season, and Buffalo eliminated New England in the Wild Card Round of the AFC Playoffs.
If both teams live up to the hype, this could easily determine who reaches the Playoffs this year.
