Former UFC lightweight title challenger Justin Gaethje (23-3-0) has received a chance at redemption. After losing his opportunity to become the 155lb champion versus Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2020, the Arizona native with 19 knockout victories will return to a home crowd following a dominating performance over Michael Chandler.
Charles Oliveira continues to defy the odds, and the Brazilian MMA superstar now looks to extend his ultra-impressive 11-fight consecutive win streak in his second title defense.

“Do Bronx” has been the betting underdog in 3 of his previous five bouts, and despite avoiding defeat since 2018, he’s rarely received the respect from the sportsbook odds.
I tip my hat to anybody placing a confident wager on either fighter; I believe this fight is too close to call, which should result in a dog or pass situation. I can’t find value in betting Oliveira as a favorite; he’s proved time and time again that his durability can be tested – particularly his chin.
It could be a long night for the champion when faced with the fight-ending power behind Gaethje’s striking output. In reverse, Oliveira owns more stoppage victories than any other fighter in UFC history.

The jiu-jitsu offense of the champ is second to none, and he’s recently displayed a more technical ability in his striking.
The available betting odds with Bookmakers Review favor “Do Bronx”, but when we have two fighters with a combined 49 knockout and submission wins, there’s one clear path for a successful wager – the fight isn’t going all five rounds!

Mexico’s own Lupita Godinez (7-2-0) looked incredibly impressive in her previous bout versus Loma Lookboonmee. I’ll be the first to put my hands up and admit I didn’t expect such an authoritative performance from her.
Loopy was faced with a lifelong striking specialist in Loma, and she easily neutralized the oncoming attacks to put herself back in the win column.
Ariane Carnelossi (14-2-0) owns a seemingly impressive mixed martial arts record, but outside of her UFC contests, she was competing against a deficient level of competition. However, a 2-1 record with her lone loss coming to Angela Hill isn’t to be frowned upon.
I enjoy Loopy’s style; her record isn’t reflecting on how talented she is. This contest is her fight to lose from her grappling tactics that involve notable judo trips, a great double leg takedown, and respectable top control.
The Mexican’s striking fundamentals are smooth, and she isn’t afraid to clinch. There aren’t many female fighters with a chain-wrestling ability, but Loopy is one of those. Overhand right and an overhand left, outside of these two strikes, she doesn’t present many looks in the striking realm.

Carnelossi uses her power, she’s good at scrambling, but I genuinely believe her complete skillset isn’t diverse enough to survive in the deeper waters of the UFC strawweight division.
The available betting odds with Bookmakers Review favor Loopy for a good reason. I believe Carnelossi possesses a strength advantage, but when we evaluate each woman's pure martial arts skillset, there’s no comparison.
