Edwards is having a strong series with 24.2 points per game, and he is shooting 46.5% from the field and 40.4% from three. All those numbers are better than his regular season averages this year.
In Game 5, Edwards was 3-of-9 from three, his worst game of the series from deep, but he made exactly four threes in each of the first four games. In the four regular-season meetings with Memphis this season, Edwards made at least four threes in three of the games.

Edwards leads the Timberwolves in threes attempted and made on a per-game basis this season. With the Timberwolves facing elimination against an elite scoring team, let’s count on Edwards to deliver with one of his better games. I like him to score at least 24 points and make at least three threes.

Patrick Beverley
Patrick Beverley is the kind of player you love if he’s on your team, hate him if he’s not. He has racked up his share of fines from the league this month for his outbursts and post-game antics, but he’ll have to deliver during the game if his Timberwolves are going to see a Game 7.
Beverley scored 10 points in Minnesota’s Game 1 upset. He scored 14 and 17 points in the two home games in this series. Beverley only scored nine points in Game 5, but he also was limited to 27:54 of action as he fouled out for just the third time this season.

Beverley is not going to score a ton of points, but as he showed in Game 4 when he made four threes, he can be a scoring asset. Between the regular season and playoffs, Beverley has scored at least 10 points in all four home meetings with the Grizzlies this season.
Beverley’s over/under for scoring this game is set at 10.5 points, which feels like a trap for some heartbreak when he finishes with nine or 10 points. With that in mind, let’s use the alternate lines at Bovada to add Beverley scoring at least nine points as the third leg of our parlay.

D'Angelo Russell
If you have not figured it out by now, this parlay is relying heavily on the Timberwolves to be competitive with their season on the line. But we feel good about that given that this team is two big-blown leads away from already beating the No. 2 seed in five games.
The final leg is D'Angelo Russell, Minnesota’s inconsistent guard who badly bricked a clutch shot late in Game 5. But Russell has been consistent in the area of assists as he plays with talented shot-makers in Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards.
Russell has had at least seven assists in all but one game of this series, and three times he’s had eight or more. In the four regular-season meetings with Memphis, Russell was a big scorer, but he also had five, six, seven, and nine assists.

Since we do not want to trust his scoring or three-point shot, let’s go with an alternate assist line for Russell and select him to dish out at least seven helpers.
