The Bundesliga crowned its champion last weekend, as Bayern Munich’s 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on matchday 31 sealed their 10th consecutive Bundesliga title. Winning 10 in a row sets a new record among Europe’s most recognizable top soccer leagues, surpassing the record set by Serie A stalwarts, Juventus, who won nine straight before their title-winning ways ended last year.
The Bundesliga season is still not over, however. The trophy may have been lifted. The confetti may have fallen. But three more laps remain and there are positions to decide at the top and the bottom of the table.

Borussia Dortmund’s disappointing loss to Bayern Munich in der Klassiker undoubtedly will have left a sting. There might be some small consolation in the knowledge that it was always going to be a big ask defeating Bayern on the away.
The now-league champions sported a 12-1-2 record at the Allianz Arena ahead of matchday 31, and that kind of home form meant the likelihood of securing a 13th win at home was high, as evinced by the Bundesliga odds.
Somehow, BVB will have to bounce back this weekend when they welcome Bochum to Signal Iduna Park. Marco Rose’s side is second in the table with a solid 20-3-8 record and 63 points. They are eight points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen and need a good result at the expense of the visitors to cement their place as the second-best in Bundesliga this year.

Bochum ranks 13th with a 10-6-16 mark and 36 points. Die Unabsteigbaren are riding a two-game losing streak into matchday 32, losing to SC Freiburg and Augsburg on the bounce by a combined score of 5-0. The fact that Bochum were rendered scoreless and pointless at the same time over their last two outings doesn’t augur well ahead of this matchup.
BVB have dominated Bochum of late, going undefeated in their last seven meetings (W4, D3, L0). Moreover, Die Borussen’s record at home is nothing to sneeze at – they are 12-0-3 on the season at Signal Iduna Park. By all accounts, a home win for the Black and Yellow looks to be on the cards.

VfB Stuttgart will be looking to capitalize on home advantage when it welcomes VfL Wolfsburg to the Mercedes-Benz Arena. It’s crunch time for Die Roten as they look to avoid the drop and secure their place in Bundesliga for next season.
Stuttgart hovers on the edge of the relegation line. They are 16th in the table behind a 6-10-15 mark and 28 points. They are two points ahead of Arminia and four points adrift of Hertha.
Die Roten have struggled to win games all season long and that hasn’t changed as the season winds down. They’re on a four-game winless run, which includes losses to Borussia Dortmund and Hertha Berlin and draws to Mainz and Arminia. takes the shine off their value across soccer betting markets.

VfL Wolfsburg are comfortably ensconced in the middle of the table. Die Wölfe rank 12th with an 11-4-16 record and 37 points. Most recently, they are coming off a 5-0 thumping of Mainz to clinch their second win in the last three fixtures – the previous win was a 4-0 drumming of Arminia.
The visitors will be looking to play out the string of the season. They seem to be up and down on form in recent weeks and that could make them an unpredictable play for soccer picks. The fact that there might be a lack of motivation for the visitors, too, considering they’re safely through to another Bundesliga season, adds to this equation.
Put it another way, this could be an opportunity for the hosts to bounce back as they should be motivated to get all three points. If they don’t, it could be curtains for their Bundesliga sojourn.
